Some people here are saying that Canada will suffer economically as a result of the government's stance, and not only do I doubt it but I think it's beside the point. I think Jean Chretien was on the money when he commented that ...do we think the Americans are just doing business with us because they like us? Anyways the whole thing goes far beyond partisan politics and personally I would like to see all countries trying to build bridges and learn from each other at this time.
