> For the first time in it's history, Israel's neighbors will admit that it has a right to exist and be recognized. Which neighbors? At the conference in Egypt not a single person there would come out and say such a thing.
> Michael, this is probably not the time or place to debate our views on this. As for Doug and John, please watch how you say things like > "execute all terrorists immediately". I am assuming that you mean all terrorists who were given a fair and proper trial and sentenced to death > under the laws of Israel, correct? Otherwise how would they be any different from any other genocidal society in our history? The laws of Israel do not have a death penalty in their legal system. Even terrorist leaders who are captured are not put to death. I guess that's why they kill the terrorists before arresting them. <sarcastic> When I see some truth from even a single Arab country about peace then I'll be quite happy to change my mind but I don't. Egypt is stockpiling weapons for a fight against an unknown foe to the east of the Sinai. They're looking the other way every time smugglers set up to move weapons to terrorists. Lebanon is a slave state to Syria (free Lebanon? Never hear it in the UN). Syria is a funnel of cash and weapons to terrorist groups and have yet to show anything like a desire for peace. Iraq is gone, but when they were around they moved tons of cash to suicide bombers. Iran is doing the same with money and weapons. Saudi Arabia, the bastion of truth in the ME has been funding terrorism for ages and still does. The only country to even come close to recognizing Israel is Jordan and where is their recognition? On paper. Not in an ambassador. Not in trade. Not in any work together. paper. That's where this Hudna is. On paper. When the PA starts to take apart the terrorist groups as they've pledged to do as part of the road map (and Oslo and every other agreement) then I'll start believing. Till then, it's just another plot to gain strength and hit Israel again (and again and again). p.s. I'm happy to see the PA government website take down the anti-American incitement cartoons. Pity they decided to leave the anti-Israel incitement there.
