Actually, no. I did mention that when the Israeli Army hits terrorists on their way to
attack, as they have done on numerous occasions, that is not only their right but
their responsibility as the defenders of their nation.

If in any way I sounded as if I condone or support the actions of the terrorist
organizations, that was my fault for not being completely clear. I do not believe that
ANY innocent life is worthless. I will also admit that there are those in the militant
groups who are basedly evil. I do not want to be associated with them in any way.

As you pointed out, most of the Palestinian / Arab population does live in peace
within the borders of Israel. Most would, I guarantee, agree that the violence has
gone on for far too long, they just want to live. However, please make sure that you
understand some of the conditions that they are asked to "live" under...

Did you know that Israel allots 85% of the water resources for Jews, and
the remaining 15% is divided among all Palestinians in the territories? For
example in Hebron, 85% of the water is set aside for about 400 Jewish
settlers, while the remaining 15% is distributed among Hebron's 120, 000
Palestinians?

Did you know that Israel is the only country in the Middle East that
refuses to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and bars international
inspections from its sites?

Did you know that Israel blew up an American diplomatic facility in Egypt
and attacked a US warship in international waters (the USS Liberty), killing
33 and wounding 177 American sailors and the US did nothing about it?

One of the justifications that shrub gave for the Iraqi war was Iraq's defiance of a
UN Security Resolution, yet Israel stands in defiance of 69 United Nations Security
Council Resolutions. And that does not count the ones that the US used their veto
power on.

All I ask is that those who would wish to have an opinion on this matter at least have
an educated one.

Respectfully,

Marwan Saidi
