Alright folks, we are doing pretty well here. We almost have us a complete
system. Everyone remember to check the specs on anything you have lying
around at home and plan on donating to the cause. The more information we
have, the better the system will be (Ben Doom, I am talking to you and those
HD's you said you might be able to dig up).

Also, if anyone could check around at your local computer shop for the price
on an AMD Athlon processor that works at speeds greater than 1700+, that
would be great. I'm thinking that's the one thing we may not be able to come
up with just by swapping, and I would really like to give Mike something
kickin.

If anyone sees anything missing or that I forgot to put on this list, please
let me know!

MikeD - are there any parts from your old computer that still work (like
speakers, the mouse, the keyboard, the monitor, etc.)? Are there any
particular components you are really dreaming about?

We will continue the cyberthon tomorrow, here is today's wrapup:

Motherboard:
1) Bill's AMD 2500+ mainboard

Chip:
1) Bill's Athlon MP 1700+

Storage:
1) Jim's 75 GB Hard Drive
2) Ben's HDs of unspecified capacity
3) MikeH's 10 GB Hard Drive

Network:
1) Jim's Ethernet / Firewire card
2) Ben's NIC cards
3) Mike H's NIC cards

Graphics Cards:
1) Tim's geForce2 440MX
2) Matt Small's dual head Matrox video card
3) MikeH's GeForce3 (if necessary)

Audio:
1) Jim's SBLive
2) Ben's unspecified sound card

Cases:
1) Doug's Case
2) Bill's Acer 'ghetto' style neon case
3) MikeH's Gateway case (probably not compatible)

Removable Media:
1) Doug's CDRom
2) Ben's DVD-ROM
3) MikeH's CDROM
4) Doug's Floppy Drive

Other / Not Sure:
1) Dana's modem
2) Tim's KVM Switch (in case miked wants to hook up multiple machines)

Things we must get:
1) RAM - Bill, what kind to we need?
2) Cables - I probably have these
3) Power supply - MikeH will donate this if no one else does. Need at least
300 watt.

Things NTH:
1) Keyboard
2) Mouse
3) Monitor
4) Brand new aluminum case
5) Stickers to go on the side

Shipping and Handling
1) Ben Braver has made a generous (but unspecified) offer
2) MikeH will cough up $10 in loose change

MikeH will try to provide whatever is still needed after this list is
complete.

M

Board takes DDR Ram. I have 2 MP 1700+ they are multi chips but they will
run in a single proc box. If nobody else with a better AMD chip comes
forward. And i do have the large case that i bought its full case very nice,
no powersupply though, ATX will work fine.
