I just got a call back from the computer shop. Looks like the HD might still be alive, which is the most I can want from the system. They say that the video card fan went south and then something happened which fried the mother board, ram, video card and power supply (feedback?). I've still got the old moniter, keyboard, mouse and speakers here. I can probably salvage the heat sink, fan and most probably the network card. Sound is a question.
