In my opinion "Bear" is one of the best kids shows on TV today.  Both in
production values (Bear really looks great and, unlike most "guys in a
suit", has a fully articulated face thanks to the Creature Shop) and
scripts.

The stories are clear and important (losing friends, using the toilet,
going to school, etc).

Highly recommended.

"The Wiggles" is actually pretty good too, but more fluff than anything
else, in my opinion.  Another great show (for older kids, too teach
reading) is "Between the Lions" on PBS - one of a line of really great
shows produced right here in Boston by WGBH (same folks who do "Nova" -
a really great educational show for grown-ups).  ;^)

No, Bear's a different half-hour show.  Bear in the Big Blue House by
Henson
studios.  They don't have that one in rotation with the rest so I don't
see
it as often.

Until Later,

  hehe

It may be mildly better than the Barney song. To this day I have that
song
stuck in my head. Is Bear on the Wiggles?
