Since you say you're "about to go into the city" about a job, I assume you
don't live in Manhatten proper? Really I'm just curious about the cost of
living out there. The calculator I looked at said that the $120K job needed
to live in the Manhatten would be $74K in Staten Island, $61K in Long
Island, $57K in Bronx and Brooklyn, $54K in Queens. Those are all supposed
to be comparable to the under $50K that I make here and I'm wondering how
realistic that is.
