Really sorry to hear it.
Small piece of advice re: the iPaq -
enable a "strong password" with alphanumerics, case, and punctuation.
I have my Dell Axim PocketPC set to lock when it isn't used for 1 hour.
Bit of a nuisance, but really lessens the risk of identity theft -
in order to use the device, someone would have to do a hard reset and clear all of memory. So they would get the hardware and OS, but nothing of mine!
