APparently...mysteriously...two BWIA (Trinidad's national airline) were
detaines for several days from christmas eve to now I believe, because
their names appeared on a No-Fly list held by the FBI and the TSA.
The official word from the FBI now is that it was a case of mistaken
identity. But the pilots report that they were roughly treated as almost
common criminals by the FBI, and their VISAS were not returned to them,
apparently they must be re-issued.

This runs close to a demand by the US that BWIA must have Air Marshalls
on board their flights (US Air Marshalls btw) if they want to continue
flying to the US. This is being resisted by other countries including
Thailand (HYPERLINK
"http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3356817.stm"http://news.bbc.co.uk/2
/hi/americas/3356817.stm) .

After the incident with the two BWIA Pilots, BWIA has agreed to allow
Air Marshalls on any flights indicated by US officials.
