I'll second that donnie darko.  Lots of fun.  I really should have a page on
my site with my list of great underviewed movies.  Dont forget Brazil.  That
is NUTS!!

Never heard of Equilibrium...just checked imdb and was amused for about 10
minutes reading a rather long thread in the forums about ...well, actually
about nothing related to the movie.  One guy liked it, another guy hated it,
and they tore into each other for about 3,000 messages.  Fun  : )

Altho the last poster in the thread went by Donnie Darko, which made me
think to add that to the list of "movies to see if you haven't".
