Same here, was amazed the first few times it happened that recruiting had been outsourced like that. I tried to nicely tell the first couple I was not interested but after rewording that statement a few times without them understanding what I was saying I finally just gave up. Probably does not help that I generally have a low opinion of recruiters to begin with.
