In the Macromedia days CF on Linux wasn't really talked about or promoted.
Getting support from Macromedia was less enjoyable than getting a root
canal.  Macromedia may not say that was the case, but that was my
perspective as an end user.

Personally I would never run a mission critical app on Windows.  But that is
just my bias showing as I type this from my Mac Book Pro while SSH'ing to my
Linux server and look at a Windows server via remote desktop. ;-)
