I am still having problems getting Coldfusion MX 7 to work with either IIS 7.0 or Apache 2.2 on Vista Ultimate. I have googled for the last week every day with no answers I couldn't even install the latest apache 2.4 because the msi isntaller would through a message right away saying I don't have the right installed to run the file, but 2.2 worked and I can localhost successfully both with Apache and IIS. The problem is when I go to try and http any *.cfm file, it can't recognize/load the page. I am pretty sure it's a MIME Type problem as when I added .cfm and wrote application/ocecat-stream (or something like that) it would open the cfm file in dreamweaver as opposed to actually launching the page. If I save the cfm files in the root of the wwwroot directory they work, but I can't load the coldfusion administrator page to add my database sources...the ...administrator/index.cfm won't work, even when I move it to the wwwroot directory. I read the instructions to add the MIME type and point to the ...runtime/lib folder to the jrun.dll but mine says jrunwin32.dll (something like that) and a search shows no results for jrun.dll on my machine. If anyone can help with specific instructions on how I can get .cfm files to launch on Vista with either IIS 7.0 or Apache 2.2 you will be the king or queen of the technical world. Please note...I am more used to IIS than Apache, but I got apache 2.2 installed and working successfully so I guess it doesn't matter. Your hopefully! David

Will we have the option of installing CF Standard rather than Enterprise from the trial download? Since we'll be running CF Standard I'd just as soon not have to deal with (or even see) any Enterprise configuration stuff. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 The most significant release in over 10 years.
