Good ol' Netscape. I've been able to work with RTF and Netscape before, so
perhaps your problem is specific to the version of Netscape that you're
using.

In any case, you might consider randomizing the name, then, so that the user
always gets the name and the new file from the server. You might be able to
simply randomize the URL by tacking on a meaningless name-value pair. I
realize that's kludgy, but that's all I can think of.
