Just out of curiosity Brook, have you noticed whether this has occurred
directly on Netscape 4.7? We've seen this on 4.7 only. Upgrading to
latest NN cured the problem. Actually, upgrading NN AT ALL cured the
problem.

|
|
| Now you mention it, I have encountered several page not found errors
| completely out of the blue with CFMX. Refresh the page and Voila, the
| problem disappears. But, I would have to agree that there is
| a problem
| here. And it has me very concerned considering we are
| planning a release of
| our new CFMX based site at the end of the month.
|
| I've also had other strange experiences with CFMX. It seems
| that sometimes
| settings change for no reason after a reboot.
|
| I really hope MM is aware (I'm sure they are) of some of
| these issues and
| that those service packs/patches will be released soon. Or
| does releasing
| Service Packs and/or patches so soon after a product launch
| look bad for
| MM? It would be nice to have some these issues listed as
| "known bugs" and
| timeliness for patches and/or workaounds. Is there anything
| like this on
| the MM site?
|
| Are there an CFMX success stories (high traffic sites?). Any
| body else care
| to share any 'bugs" or issue's they have come across while
| using CFMX? I am
| getting really nervous about our Sept 1st launch. We already
| have hundreds
| of users on our site (pay site) and they would be none to
| happy if our web
| services started acting funny. It could inevitably cost us
| business. But at
| the same time, we have already delayed our publized launch
| date due to some
| technical issues, CFMX among them and may not be able to push
| the release
| date any further.
|
| We'll have to see how it goes I guess, and hope for the best
| (and load
| test!). It would be nice to see some CFMX sites with moderate to high
| traffic who are not having issues. That would be comforting. :)
