We upgraded the JRE after CFMX was installed. You have to go in and change the class path manually so it shouldn't matter wether it was before or after. Upon inital install CFMX is using JRE 1.3.0_03.
We were using offical JRE 1.4.1 release from Sun. Here is quick one to test the problem #Dateformat(now(), "mm/dd/yy (mmm)")# This throws an error with 1.4.1 then run it in 1.4.0 works fine. You can also look at one of my previous post here listing all the issues with LS functions. Don't want to repeat as it it quite long. Are you using the official release of JRE 1.4.1, or was it a beta release? Just want to find out, because I have it running quite successfully on my servers running CFMX.
