Stable enough for development work, I suppose. I have no personal experience with it, but I know there are a few developers using it, so it must work well enough for them, since they could easily run it on a Windows or Unix machine instead. > 2. How well does it run? See above answer. It's not suitable for anything except development, though; Macromedia won't sell you a production license, for obvious reasons. It's questionable whether the developers license covers running it on OS X in the first place, although it doesn't hurt Macromedia to allow it, I suppose. > 3. Is there any functionality that does not work? According to Dick's three-part article, Verity doesn't work and web services don't work. Verity is never going to work, since there's no native OS X version of Verity. Conceivably, web services could work in a future version of CFMX. There may be other things that don't work, but those are the only two which come to mind. Of course, in a production environment those two things may be very important. > 4. And, finally, does anyone know, or has anyone heard if > and when MM is planning on coming out with an OS X version > of CF that is fully supported? My guess is, sometime after OS X gains significant market share as a server platform, if ever. I don't think that's going to be any time soon, but I could be wrong.
