This came up in the past couple weeks. As I remember the summary: The COM component (.ocx) that ships with Crystal 8.x and 9 may or may not work under CFMX. The Java-COM bridge can be problematic. But there is a Java wrapper (which I can verify that ships with CR 8.5 at least) that will let you manipulate Crystal reports as you would the COM object.
