Requirements for VMWare (for Linux) are remarkable low, but you need a *lot* of memory, decent disk space, and solid processor. I run Linux and Windows emulations under Windows 2000 with 512MB and PIII/500 -- but like it better on the P4 1+ GHz and 1 GB RAM.
Did a little research and not a solution (obviously) for Mac.
