Have you ever use IntelliJ or Eclipse to do Java code ? Much, much faster than writing it by hand in Jedit or something, as it fills in or pop-ups prompts for class types, auto-majicaly changes method calls when you change the class, has a GUI that spits out boiler plate code for creating the objects you draw etc. -- Tom Chiverton (sorry 'bout sig.)
