Where are these relevant facts I am missing? You certainly haven't
presented a single fact.

Clearly others are finding problems with Verity, so being aware of
other technologies is very useful. If you have been lucky enough to
find Verity adequate for all your needs then congratulations, but don't
assume your requirements are the same as everyone else's. Although, I
am curious about this Verity support in the community? Would your
original email be an example of this support? You know the one where
you suggested that Verity wasn't the problem. Great support!

So you don't know what else is out there and how it compares, but you
don't consider it necessary to find out. How exactly do you determine
if it is necessary if you don't even know it exists? For all CF's
strengths, it does have its weaknesses too. I have see so many CF
applications that have hundreds of lines of CFML that could have been
implemented better and cheaper with the integration of another
technology. I'm sure all those clients were pleased their consultant
didn't consider awareness of other technology in their interest.
