Kevin,

I have never done this through CF, but I have through VB.  It seems that
JET, the Access database engine, will verify security rights on each
instance, kind of like what SQL Server does.  Access might have to be loaded
on the server, or at least the JET and DAO files.  Access will return back
an error if a user with no write permissions tries to run an action query.
