on CF5. I mean which dbms, odbc driver etc?
If the arabic text is coded in any coding system, uncluding UTF-8, it is still plain ASCII, so it can fit in any database, even dBase.
The only things that may cause trouble are alphabetic sort, LIKE clauses, but thes are not always necessary.
