Ah 2CO... When they are working its all smooth, but if there is *any*
sort of problem you are in hell.

I had several problems with regular clients who were paying for
services and 2CO would simply dump the transaction as 'fraudulent'
without bothering to give me a courtesy email.  I took to emailing
[EMAIL PROTECTED] immediately on the client telling me he'd paid me
to notify them the client was known and to leave the payment the hell
alone.  Later they implemented an email system that said "email us
back in 2 hrs or we'll bounce it".  Since the transaction was in the
middle of the night (daytime where the client was) I didn't get to
them in time and they bounced a few more hundred USD.

What they didn't like about me was that I was doing business with
folks in Australia.  Some colleges and businesses.  Another time they
told me the name on the card was obviously fraudulent.  The guy was
Polish (working for a US company) and the 2CO fraud reviewer decided
he needed more vowels in his name.  Imbecile.

Lets see what else?  They forgot to invoice one of my clients her
monthly hosting subscriptions awhile (US$50 ea.) and hit her all at
once when they figured out their mistake.  That one was fun.

And lest I forget, they have a 'rolling reserve' that they keep in
pocket in case you have a chargeback.  I have had zero for years and
they still are holding onto I think 5% for 60-90 days.  With the one
or two things I still have with them.  Maybe $200 monthly.

Neither 2co or paypal is perfect... and the PP site is back up.  For now...
