Personally I disagree when it comes to cross-server support.  Its support in
CF may be fine, but the rest of the libraries are nasty.  The JS library, in
particular is truly aged at this point.  ;^)

But WDDX is definitely the kind of solution I've been ranting about:
something less complex than SOAP, but more complex than JSON which allows
structured data to be passed to AND from JavaScript in a standardized way.
