This is exactly what I settled on last night, and was about to post explaining. My Advice now takes the ReactorFactory bean and the alias name (as string). I'm working to keep the overhead as low as pos as Brian suggests by chaching as many of the calls to Reactor as pos. It's already faster though (on results on a size much greater than we normally use) as expected (because even CF8s super-fast createObject() is slower than structNew().
