Windows 2000 is much more suited for daily use than NT v4.0

However, 2000 does require a lot more memory than NT4 - 128 is the minimum 
for 2000.  I would recommend you upgrade to 256 MB (RAM is CHEAP!  In 
Toronto, a store is selling RAM for 60USD for 128!).

Win2k also has support for DirectX, Firewire, and USB. Furthermore, it's 
networking features are much better, for example you don't have to reboot 
after changing TCP/IP settings... and best of all, you dont' have to 
reinstall the Service Packs every single time you make a change to the OS : )
