Well, since I'm sharing the box (and the other person is paying the bulk of it!) there's still always some small issues with what they might want to run on the box, or I might want to do on it. Or if the box locks up or reboots for any reason (it's windows after all) there's the typical desire to point fingers, etc. Not ideal, but I agree that having your own is certainly the way to go and sharing is really the only way for me to afford it right now. I've already done a bit of tweaking on the server to get it running faster...when I first loaded my site on there the pages were taking several seconds to load, it was ridiculously slow. Since my own site runs on the ecommerce software that I sell, slow page loads are a great way to scare away customers, so *really* not acceptable. I have them loading in about 200ms now...and all the other sites on the box running equally faster. So they're pretty happy I think to have me on there for the most part. ;-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:299849 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
