CF8 ships with JDK 1.6 Version 1.6_06 isn't supported by CF8; 1.6_04 is the latest version showing in the support matrix. Regardless, 1.6_06 still suffers the classloader issue (which isn't fixed until 1.6u10 and that's still in beta).
