Oh and can i add, Rick , yes you DO want to use ColdSpring, but not just yet. You'll get to the point where you're bitching to yourself that all you seem to be doing is writing <cfset variable = createobject("component","Componentname").init() /> all the time and you're always forgetting the exact path to a cfc and what exactly it needs to instantiate it.
