I've got a BA and an MA, but neither one is in CS or MIS ... Classics (Ancient Greek and Latin). The 'requirement' of CS / MIS schooling tends to come from HR, rather than IT hiring managers. Not always true, but often. Completely agree that the degree is immaterial vs the demonstrated ability to learn and to program solid software.
