Not exactly, because Flash doesn't use AJAX.

But if the question is, does a Flash client fetch data more quickly
than AJAX, the answer is generally "yes". Flash clients generally use
AMF to fetch data rather than JSON or XML over HTTP, and AMF is
measurably faster. But honestly, that isn't necessarily going to
matter all that much for many apps.

Flash clients also generally deal better with large datasets than AJAX
applications. Again, though, this might not matter for many apps.
