HmailServer is a good free mail server for Windows. We always use this as the SMTP server for customers with a VPS. You can also use it for incoming mail as well ut if you if you wish, but if you have any kind of load don't use the default Clamwin, as it consumes too much CPU. Use Clamscan instread, u can find more into on the forums.
