just 8 spatial objects? *i* can't see that amount of data warranting it's own 
infrastructure. so maybe google's fusion tables (FT)? you'd have to convert the 
target shapefiles into KML but there's plenty of utils for that. there's a CFC 
on riaforge for FT: http://fusiontables.riaforge.org/ the rest is just SQL.
