All of the cfmail apps are essentially the same code... What matters even
more to mailing lists is the power and speed of the MailServer.  Here since
we do our own hosting are able to hook into a massive Corp Exchange
server... This has been tested to send out the entire maillist for a few of
our clients at once.... And i guess our net connection also help that out
alot. Im sorry I cant actually say how many due to that it hosts numerous
websites so it is never just one sending all the mail...  I can tell you it
didnt take long to send one merchants which contained 7000 members.


So basically you need a good mailserver
