your boss is a gadget idiot.... time for him to join everyone else out here in sufferville...
800x600 is fine... be sure to cut the thing down to accommodate gutters.. I mean borders :) so like 760 x 540 is suitable.... as far as that also goes, I like the people who don't use fixed sizing and use percents instead to make things resize... looks great on his monitor when you get a paragraph in 2 lines of text :) -paris -----Original Message----- From: Will Swain [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 04:38 To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Quick Question 800 x 600 still. -----Original Message----- From: ehoma [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 19 December 2001 21:44 To: CF-Talk Subject: Quick Question I hope that you'll permit me to ask a non cf question here. It is the only list that I subscribe to and I know that all of the top web developers are here. I'm having a debate with my boss. He likes to spend money and always has the latest gadgets. On his desk is a twenty-something inch flat panel display and he sets the resolution as high as he can. You could look at most web sites on his screen using binoculars. I'm still developing our sites using 800 X 600 and he tells me that I'm living in the stone ages. My question: Which screen resolution is everyone designing for nowadays?
