Again, custom tags in generally are not scalable. This is a major
difference in overhead between using built-in tags like cfQuery and
custom tags.

In what way are the tags unscalable?  Have you used cfObjects before?
Before you bite my head off, I'm just curious why you would say this.
IMHO, cfObjects is scalable to the {n}th degree because the base tags
are written to be ubiquitous.  They enable development rather than limit
it because they are simply functional tags like CFQUERY.  Does CFQUERY
limit the scalability of ColdFusion development?  Does CF_BODYCONTENT
limit the scalability of Fusebox?

Anyone else who has experience developing real apps with cfObjects feel
free to kick in on this one.  I find it so hard to get honest, valuable
feedback on the framework that I take every opportunity to get it.
Usually I just get "it's too hard to learn", which I simply chalk up to
"I don't understand it".
