That's because it's open source, so you kind of give up the ability of
closed source so that you can have a better product. So you either pay lots
of money to have your ideas made, or pay nothing and have the tools and
figure out a different way to make money. Either way you get good software,
and you get your ideas out there.

There is no way of controlling who gets to see the 'product(s)' as we are

Well throw them out here, I don't think there was really enough people
interested in making a full fledged CMS, so maybe something else more people
can use will be of interest to having more people coding, and maybe using
these things we could to  integrate into a CMS.

Have you ever discussed forming a business alliance to develop products that
can the group can sell?

For instance i have some fantastic ideas for sites and uses of CF to make
using those sites even easier.

But i dont have the programming knowledge to put these ideas into practice,
just yet anyhow.

I am sure if we all pitched in we could make some great applications, and
make a little on the side!!
