The best way to continue the COSMOS conversation is to have a project that
someone is actually using, and ways on how people here can use it and
benefit from it, and start with the core functionality and then go up from
there.

I've always thought that the CMS should be flexible (user configurable) in
what editor is used. ie some editors work better than others based on the
browser selection of the user. So it is fine to support activedit, but maybe

build support so other can be used instead.

I built a little CMS, but the issue for me is I do not own the rights for
ActiveEdit which I use to edit pages.

Here is a list of features my CMS/Intranet Project already contains. (Code
named BACKPACQ)

Website OptionsBusiness Options
Calendar Staff
Newsletter Clients
Email Board Members
Help Service Orders
Members Payroll
FAQs Billing
Forum Estimates
Guestbook Inventory
Links Shopping Cart/Orders
Downloads Payments Received
Web Media Equipment Management
Image Gallery
Chatrooms

Will disclose more upon request... I would like to make an open source
editor to replace aActiveedit.
