I'm not sure what web server software you are running on, but if it's IIS, could it be the session time in that? (not that I've had any issues with IIS session times) Also, just on the off chance, you haven't put the timeout numbers in the wrong boxes, or the wrong values in the session input boxes in the coldfusion administrator have you? (just in case you haven't already double checked)
