If there is only one table in the query I don't use table names, but
if there are two or more I always specify table names even if I don't
have to. It just makes it easier to read.

Another pet hate of mine is aliasing for the sake for it (FROM
tablename t1, tablename t2, etc..)- why add one more layer of
abstraction?
