That's why we want to create "self-contained" applications, that can be moved to any location in the hosting server, and still work with no specific reconfiguration.
CFCs can be placed anywhere and then made accessible using the Custom Tag Paths setting in the CF Admin so I'm not really sure what you think the problem is.
