The CE of Poseidon is fine as long as you get along with the limited functionality. Look at the licensing costs of the professional version and compare them to the licensing costs of EA 4.5.

Most CE tools are ok, and Poseidon is an exceptional tool, but when you need to work with more than just java and to make use of more complex and advanced features eventually you just have to pony up for a license.

EA has been worth every cent.

I use argo and like it. But I also use psoiden which I hear is built
on top of argo. It has a little more polished feel, and does have a

Enterprise Architect 4.5 from Sparx Systems. Nice capitalist tool, also

Ok, I'll stop now...

Flame away, but I use Visio 2003, and it does a great job. It also
integrates with VS.NET (which I also use extensively).

Hello,

Just wondering what tools would you guys recommend for designing class
diagrams using UML for CFCs.

Requirements are just that the class needs to be exported as XML (I
will "import" tem using CF afterward).

GModeler (http://www.gskinner.com/gmodeler/app/run.html) would be
great, but dependency upon internet connection and lack of support
cuts it off from the list.

Anyone using Argo ?
