WEll that is kind of hard, all the text mate extensions extend a certain editor type (such as text etc)

Eclipse has a way to do this, and its called plugins... go figure.

It's beyond my skillset i'm afraid, but I'm wondering in the back of my mind if it would be possible to create an plugin for eclipse that could be used as an adapter of sorts to use all the TextMate plugins. Maybe someone is already working on it?

the guy who started e-texteditor decided to make all the plugins (bundles & themes) compatible with the ones from TextMate, to benefit from the efforts of their large community. So yes, the CF bundle works with e-texteditor on Windows. I am using right now.
