Great entry! But if the component police are going to show up on my doorstep to 
inspect my newbie cfcs ... well... I'm putting down the CF books right now ;)

You make some good points about typeless setters/getters. Though I would 
probably use type="string" instead of "any" in most cases. I'm still on the 
fence about typing when it comes to passing in other components as method 
arguments.
Security conscious developers tend to want to place their CFCs outside of the 
webroot, so neither of those workaround is acceptable to them.
Ok, call me clueless. How do you use cfc's if they are outside the webroot?
