MarcusJohnson91 added a comment. I agree that changing formatting randomly isn't a good idea, and I think converting AfterExternBlock to an enum is the way to go, but I'm just not sure on how it should be implemented.
Ok, I've got an idea to deprecate the AfterExternBlock option and map it to a new option, I'm gonna start implementing it right now.
