In my case, I only have 2 computers. One had been upgraded to Mac OS 10.6,
the other was still at 10.5 (testing the upgrade). BOTH lost their
connection to the server after the upgrade of Chandler. In both cases, I
needed to delete the account and recreate it. In iCal 3 I needed to add the
trailing slash, in iCal 4 I did not. Let me tell you, the stress hormones
were flowing for a while until I figured out the trailing slash for the iCal
3 machine...

I suspect this was cleaner than the workaround since all items disappeared
from iCal and then reappeared when the accounts were recreated.

That's not strictly necessary, but there's a catch.

In the Server Settings

When you next run iCal: exclamation marks may disappear,

to work normally, but beware:

In the

 1. do not be tempted by the trailing

 2. if your iCal 3.x (Mac OS X 10.5.x) was not synced with

you upgraded to iCal 4.x (Mac OS X 10.6.x), then use iCal 4

 3.

 4. if you exported at step
