So wd is an interface to qt? It would be helpful if the docs explained that clearly.
The community doesn't seem to have much faith in J as a platform for creating GUIs: there aren't any substantial GUI apps built with J, and wd seems to be just a passive medium for transferring commands to the window driver, there seems to be no attempt to make the interface J-like.
