Chris;

Did a reinstall of everything. The 1.ijx window opens correctly but with
an error message: "domain error: wd" and "wd BUF". The window is frozen
and no action with any of the menu items.

Since I am dual-boot I will put this aside for the time being. Back to
XP.

So far I have been very impressed by the way that Ubuntu handles the
installation of programs without any need to resort to 'Terminal Stuff';
maybe one day J will install the same way.

Below is my terminal I/O.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ~/j601/jw

   at jx.utils.wd0.wdexec(Unknown Source)
   at jx.utils.jnative.wd(Unknown Source)
Error java.awt.DefaultFocusTraversalPolicy cannot be cast to
javax.swing.CompatibilityFocusTraversalPolicy code =

Thanks;

David
