I suppose the more likely problem will be it cannot boot up linux if
install window after linux is installed, because window will blindly
overwrite the boot sector.  In this case it need to boot up linux
using live-cd or bootable usb stick, and manually re-create the grub
list (google for the detail steps).  It is often install windows first
and then install linux afterwards.
